We will only release your personal data if so required by law, where necessary for preventing or combating fraud, where necessary for dispute resolution, or for any other pressing legitimate need which under the circumstances must outweigh your privacy interests, such as the security of our business and the safety of our staff.
If you choose to register with us, you authorize JDE and its agents to collect, store, use, disclose, and otherwise process your personal data in connection with the purposes as described above.

How do we protect your information?
JDE will take appropriate technical and organizational security measures against loss or unlawful processing of this data. This may include using secure registration forms, encryption of data, and restricting access to your personal information.
How long do we retain your personal data?
We will retain your personal data within a reasonable timeframe after your last activity or as long as you are a candidate on an active requisition.
If you do not want your personal data to be retained, you can delete your account and all data via selecting “deactivate” in the account menu. Your data is then deleted from the servers and will be permanently deleted in the next backup cycle.
We will only retain personal data related to your account to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Transfer of data
In case of you are selected and accepted the job offer, you data will be transferred to local HR department for administration purposes and drafting the contract. You should be aware that JDE is located around the world. As a consequence your personal information may be transferred within the JDE group of companies.
Please note that some third countries, like the US, do not provide for an adequate level of protection of your personal data. However, you can be assured that JDE will take appropriate safeguards to ensure the confidentiality and security of your data.
JDE shall remain responsible in case of onward transfers to third parties to support JDE purposes only. Any other use of the Personal Data by third-party providers is prohibited.
All third-party providers receiving Personal Data from the European Union and/or Switzerland agree to (i) process the Personal Data only to the extent required by JDE and in accordance with JDE’s instructions and (ii) comply with the applicable data protection laws for transfer and processing of Personal Data and (iii) provide adequate technical and organization measures to protect the Personal Data.
To this end, we use the European Standard Contract clauses (http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/international-transfers/index_en.htm) with our processors and sub processors in order to guarantee the privacy and the security of your personal data.
