This project will help smallholder coffee farmers to improve cultivation skills and also contribute to the sustainable development of the coffee industry in Yunnan Province. In the long term the farmers will be able to use the Smart Coffee APP as a good tool to help them practice and record Good Agricultural Practices on a daily basis.

Specific Objectives:

• Use “Smart Coffee” APP to collect relevant data and train on Good Agricultural Practices
• Improved farmers’ knowledge and awareness on shade trees, reduce occurrence of pests and diseases, awareness and research on Glyphosate
• Reduce use of insecticides and improve sustainability of coffee production
